It was a perfect morning with temperatures in the 70’s as 19 Lamborghini’s roared from the parking lot of Lamborghini Dallas for their Fall Owners’ Rally. The route took the drivers 15 miles north on Central Expressway as on-looker’s snapped pictures with their cell phones. They exited at Fairview and headed northeast through New Hope and Blue Ridge, then south to Caddo Mills and Royce City before reaching their destination at Lake Ray Hubbard.
Somewhere along the way, part of the group made a wrong turn and had to create a new route through the back roads that didn’t show on their navigation systems. It was quite an adventure, but everyone had a great time exploring the open roads and new scenery.
When the participants arrived at The Harbor on the east shore of Lake Ray Hubbard, they were greeted by a live band playing at the annual “Rockin On The Docks” festival. Arts and crafts vendors along with many food tents lined the dock, as people enjoyed the beautiful weather along the lakefront.
Lamborghini clients enjoyed a terrific meal at Luna de Noche, as they shared stories about the drive and how much fun it was to be part of a group that shared a passion for these Italian supercars. Everyone was excited to spend the rest of the weekend watching the Rangers and the Cowboys defeat the teams from St. Louis, so they departed around 2pm and headed back towards Dallas.
The group is looking forward to their next gathering on November 12th for Boardwalk Auto Group’s Exotic Poker Run which will begin at Boardwalk Ferrari and end at Lamborghini Dallas. The best hand wins prizes and the drivers all celebrate the adventure with a sit down lunch at the conclusion.
